MCX offers MCX Certified Commodity Professional (MCCP) programme for those who want to be acquainted with the commodity derivatives market. The programme focuses on the modalities of trading in commodity markets, its operations and practices, clearing, settlement and delivery procedures, and its regulatory and legal framework. On successful completion of the programme, the candidates will earn ‘MCCP’ or ‘MCX Certified Commodity Professional’ certificate. A specially prepared study material is provided to all candidates who register for the test.
To pass the test, registered candidates need to take a test at any one of the approved test centres, and score a minimum of 50 per cent. The test comprises of 50 questions, which need to be answered in 90 minutes. Incorrect answers will be awarded negative scores, and no marks will be awarded for questions not attempted. |

The MCCP certificate is valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issue.
