World Environment Day |
|
|
Reiterating our commitment to Mother Earth, World Environment Day (WED) 2011-June 5th was celebrated in full swing at MCX. With an aim to sensitize on Environment Conservation, series of activities were organized for employee to participate.
Employee volunteered at Ashadeep Association NGO where they discussed on environmental conservation. Around 30 teenagers participated in the session. |

Encouraging eco-friendly practice, in the office websites WED 2011 banner was displayed. Also in different significant location in the office premise posters and presentation was screened to create awareness on environment conservation.
Slogan writing contest on environmental preservation was also announced for employee. Word limit given was 15 which should be original stating how we can contribute for a greener environment. The best and creative slogan of the contest was awarded with special gifts. The award winning slogan is as below……… |

Blood Donation Drive |
|
|
| The 5th nationwide blood donation drive was organized on 23rd May 2011 in association with BSES Hospital (Rotary Blood Bank). Mr. Parveen Singhal, DMD, MCX inaugurated the drive. Pan India, total 267 blood units were collected. One hundred and seventy four (174) units were collected across Mumbai offices. Simultaneously conducted across 09 FT Group offices in the country, the largest strength was at Ahmadabad (30). |

Mumbai Marathon |

With full vigour and enthusiasm, Financial Technologies Group (FTG) companies participated in the sports events of the year- the 8th Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon on January 16, 2011. In sync with the organizational commitment to reach out to various sections of society, FTG Group once again reiterates its pledge to support a social cause.
Under the ‘Corporate Challenge’ category, FT Group run for Yuva Parivartan (www.yuvaparivartan.org ), a movement initiated by Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA). Yuva Parivartan works on developing integrated and replicable models to empower deprived dropouts and youth to earn a livelihood and become useful citizens. Total twenty five (25) FTG employees run for the ‘Dream Run’ of 6 kms.
Mumbai Marathon participants also visited the NGO, Yuva Parivartan. This helped participants to understand and know better the cause of Youth Livelihood.

III Saving Campaign |

| Group CSO in association with Department of Post, Maharashtra, launches III Saving Week Campaign in January 2011. The campaign objective was to encourage amongst employee the habit of saving in a safe environment directly through salary. In this regard, postal authority addresses employee’s queries one on one basis on Postal Recurring Deposit account. Under III Saving Campaign, 22 new Postal Recurring Deposit accounts were opened. Currently 59 employees have 80+ accounts depositing more than Rs. 1, 00,000/- monthly. |

School=Lunch drive |
|
|
Group CSO in collaboration with ISKCON Food Relief Foundation launched a uniique School=Lunch Drive on 10-11 March 2011 at Exchange Square and FT tower. Idea was to sensitize employee on Mid Day Meal Programme and to raise funds to support the cause.
On the day of event, employee were served with scrumptious Khichdi prepared with the highest quality ingredients in pure ghee during the lunch hour. This helped employee to taste the flavour of Khichdi that covers 6.3 lac school children across the country daily by ISKCON Food Relief Foundation.
Simultaneously interested employee also voluntary donated towards the School Lunch Project. Contribution was open through different mode of payment like, cash, cheque, atom application and payroll. Further, FT Group company was spotted amongst the top 2 Corporates to donate more than Rs. 2,60,000/- to ISKCON Food Relief Foundation. At individual capacity highest amount of donation received was Rs. 27,000/-. The School=Lunch drive was a grand success that has received participation from around 2000+ employee at Mumbai.
